| Leon has black camo too. I think I will enjoy the Baron. With slugs it's a mean-ass semi-auto rifle, and it's not exactly bad in CQB either | |

| It´s total shit standing between to roles without fulfilling any of it. Beeing the worst shotgun of all choices and in the middle of the scout rifles but with a unnormal flinch when you get hit. | |

| Nothing makes me rage-quit faster or harder than fighting over a base against X enemy, taking it down to a few seconds, then have Y enemy drop a few guys on it, flip the point(s) and hold it down for the last fe seconds that remained. A shit-mechanic for shit-players who should be treated like the lazy shit-stains they are. I hate working for any length of time to have someone else take away everything I have worked for. That's the kind of shit that get little momma-fuckers shot in real life, and the fact that bases can be ninja'ed like that is nothing short of unacceptable. Whoever designed this, whoever came up with this idea, need to be fired from their job IMMEDIATELY, and never have another again. On to the fucking streets to starve unto death you go, you miserable little cretin.
Other than that, the evening was... amusing. We *CLEARLY* need more coherence training and to tighten up our shit because frankly, the kind of headless-chicken antics we can pull off at times is amusing, but ultimately will prove to be fruitless. More squad-cohesion training is what I will be doing whenever able, meaning while leading live.
I hope Dubnus and the rest enjoy the rest of the evening because I'm going to go and enjoy a murder-fantasy about every worthless pleb that like to ninja bases, in an effort to cool off a little.
See you all tomorrow on the new TS.

| First of all I wasn't there so I can't comment on the specifics, but:
This last minute drop is something that we too do sometimes so I think it's kindof wierd for you to be salty about this. If it was a MAX drop then yeah, salt away.
As for squad cohesion & things
I'm honestly kindof on two minds on this. For one I think that yeah following orders should be done, as that's the entire point, but at the same time to rigid orders are not as fun. Basically what I'm saying is let's not get into micromanagement to much.

| A last minute drop on a base where TR is defending or attacking happens all the time, yes. We do not drop on bases that TR has link on and ninja it from under the noses of VS and NC who are fighting over it,and thus flipping point(s) in the last seconds and capping the base - I can't recall a single time we have done this as an outfit. I don't care how many times other TR do that, I can't control that, even if I dissaprove of it.
There is also a difference, a middle-ground, between following orders with maximum micromanagement and borderline anarchy. Basically, today, though it was mostly amusing, was more along the lines of "wtf are we doing, this is so spastic that we may as well have been randoms."
Basically, I'd love tighter squad cooperation, better redeploy and mobilization times, better vehicle control, less randomly pulling a vehicle that goes counter to the current mission etc.

| What can I say, shrubs on Hossin are stronger than 6-wheeled armored vehicles, and I did not see it in time thanks to the other vehicle coming past trailing smoke. My settings for that are second-highest, so smoke's really thick on my screen This is one of those things I was talking about when I said yesterday's evening was... amusing, for the most part. Should have filmed the part where I come in with a second Sundy to bolster the numbers of them inside, and THEN you got the sundy to the shield, blocking my entry. I guess BAWC don't do anything half-assed, including flunders :O | |

| This here refers mostly to to Dubnus' leading tonight but other officers should keep this in mind as well.
Indar is very focused around vehicle control as base layouts are pretty open (most bases on other continents are more closed and thus hostile vehicles aren't a threat to holding or taking the point). When enemies have numerous lightnings, sundies and all kinds of other shit around the base you won't have any success trying to get the point even if you have a small overpop. The key is having a couple people in harassers/lightnings/prowlers to neutralize their vehicle advantage so infantry could move up without getting shat on by everything. I know many people aren't any good with vehicles but that's how you stay bad at them - not using them. On today's session I had like 2 kd. I don't give a shit about the kd but usually during ops I can manage 3-4 kd which is an indication on how much I personally got wrecked tonight.

| It's true. Mine was 1.5 tonight. It was difficult. It was only when I took us to bases such as seabed where we did well and that cap was so close I wont forget it for a while! I'm an infantry officer for the most part and I just didn't want to pull vehicles except for galaxies. Granted, tanks are very important on Indar but I felt, and still feel, that there weren't enough people that I could personally trust for armour to be effective. Honestly, those caps which we did were good and I don't think this should taint your view of the 2nd of July's op. P.S. Nice to see that Turai and myself were the only officers who survived the TS changing ! | |

Technical difficulties? Check. Poor KDR? Check. Game crashes when opening map? Check. Game resets user settings every crash? Check. High ping? Check. AIR SQUAD !?!?!?!? CHECK.
Sorry for the rage quit at the end, but I couldn't contain all of that build up anymore...

| No idea what TJ's on.
Decent night tonight. Lots of movement, drops, base saves, base caps and action.
And lots of NC casually dropping multiple platoons on things, having large swarms of AH-Reavers and more doing what they want, because fuck worrying about air when you can air-duel with your AI weapon.
We were on a base, holding a building when people started to get killed by AH fire THROUGH THE SLITS IN THE WINDOWS. That's how powerful this shit is - aim at the window fire in, collect certs.
Meanwhile Banshee is lucky if you kill one target with one magazine - at the same range the AH is effective. PPA? Takes longer to kill, but has splash damage and is effective at long range, so no worries there.
To say I'm disgusted with this state of affairs in regards to the Air-based AI balance is an understatement, but I am glad to see TR getting more coordinated already. A sign of good things to come.
More coms, more co-ops and more stopping the NC/VS gravy trains and massacring all aboard, the little pleb fucks. Getting stomped on a little is the least they deserve. And the better performance today from all involved will help make that a reality.
I'm not going to give up on my hatred until we are not just the dominant force on this pitiful server, but a terror that has for all intents and purposes, won the damn game by being unstoppable. I will accept nothing less than total domination.

As for the TS, it's working as intended I think.

| TS seems to work fine. A little weird to not see who's officers or not anymore though. Conced into inversion requires two nades, IIRC. That, or a direct hit. Maybe not suck on the enemy nade next time? | |

| SCU Massacre room.
I lol'ed really hard at that, because it's so damn accurate. What can I say though, the NC did what they always do - pile in a shit-load of HA's with concs (you were not the only blurry-vision-syndrome victim in there) frags, speedy LA's with C4 even, and ofc, MAX suits. Always lots and lots of those. TR was almost exclusively infantry too, so that did not go down to well.
This is just another reminder of why the whole cooperation initiative is so important.

| Learn some damn reading comprehension will you please? I'm talking about the NC's use of basic level, retard-safe tactics, in this case, sheer numbers, zerg-rushing shit - because they can.
I'm not complaining about concs, or frags, or C4, or even MAX suits or AH's - I'm annoyed with the extreme proliferation of all this.
Is it or is it not true, that NC are prone to massive number drops? Large numbers of them MAX suits? Large numbers of Reavers as air-support? Large numbers of those with AH's and so on?
Cool your little smurf panties and re-read what's written if you have to. I am not petty enough to whine that other factions use shit I also have. The absurd quantity perhaps, but never thing individual things themselves.

| I kind of regret getting on today. Not because it was bad - it was the usual, few Arrows, many NC/VS everywhere experience - but because I get a feeling Thersites, Astro, Chom, TJ, Andou and the rest were have a bang-up time before I got and and basically assumed command thinking of this while "Let's try practising this thing, and doing this other thing later in response to events" etc.
Ofc, we did manage to do a lot of things - Harasser runs, a little Prowler duo with ammo-buss (that got a load of kill btw) Valkyrie teams (that achieved many kills too, to be fair) and other stuff, like storming a mountain infested with NC, and our little stalker squad...
...I just get the sense that through all the derping we did, and my constant reaction of "dafuq?" and "How did you manage to do _that_" and so on, things got tiresome after a while D:
Also, Dubnus came on for a while, doing a little bit of Valk flying and squad leading, one-armed bandit style while eating "a mountain of pasta."
Brits man, what a weird lot.
At any rate it was an amusing day, all things considered, but another case of mixed feelings.
