I died blowing up that Harasser, he ran down at least one more TR outside before we got him. Can't tell what weapon he had but he was right outside the point. This was on the Bothany Wing btw, so he could have ran half the squad over if nothing else. Dying early I saw the map and the area. Not sure how many you saw, but I counted 3 Scythes bombing the building. The moment people were inside the building the VS bum-rushed on with every warm body they had. A few more Medics won't stop 3-1 odds pushing in top and bottom at the same time. We had no MAX suits IIRC and frankly yeah, the drop was very late, but I'm convinced that drop was doomed from the get-go.

Anyway, shit done, gonna go sleep now.

Well I landed on the roof and got 1 deci into the harasser. I saw only 1 scythe and when I got on point myself it was riddled with TR bodies and like 2 enemies that I took out. Then more a few poured in from stairs and I got taken out as well. If we got the revives we and RMIS could have easily held it for 25s more.

Well, I've got a why I hate VS players story from today.

I'm minding my business on Amerish just after the alert ended (wich TR won \o/ ) going after a good fight. I've decided to take a sundy to Lithcorp Central because it was empty currently and it seemed like a good idea to try to cap it.

On the way there I picked up 2 friendly random maxes in the middle of nowhere, we drove up the mountain, deployed the sundy in a nook then began a small offense. I was kindof hoping some randomTR to assist at some point but they didn't.

Anyway not long after like 3 VS show up and we're having a nice you could call fun fight holding the point, losing it, taking it back. They deliberately didn't go for the sundy, nor did they spawncamp it.

Until 2 more people showed up in maxes. Then 3 ppa scythes.

Versus us 3 random TR.

End of the story.

Annoying, but happens all day every day.

Those people read the map, saw there was a small fight, decided to show up. They did not know everyone ELSE had the same idea.

As for "why are VS the scum of the earth" I've got so many other examples, but frankly I've neither time, nor interest, and it's mostly to be expected if you are veteran enough.

All the same, VERY annoying when that happens.

Going to be good, I tire of losing straight-up gun-fights with other HA's only because even with head-shots, the ROF of the NS-15 is often utterly inferior.

Wondering if it will be the NS-Baron or the Golden Armistice next. Or, fuck it, Platinum NS-11

I might be around this evening. Either way, it will be good to be able to trust the TR around me again when on ops. I a so fucking tired of TR randoms. They are almost never of any use.

Tbh while NS11 and NS15M have lower RoF at the damage tier than most other LMGs but the lack of recoil and small CoF bloom make up for it so it's very competitive with the sustained accuracy you can have with it(as long as you are ADS) in my opinion. The TR LMGs I would use over it are TMG and MSW-R.

NS11C and NS11A are both in very similar places in terms of their strengths. You can't look just at stats in terms of how much damage I can output theoretically (damage x RoF). You have to look at what is your damage output realistically (how many of your theoretical damage output you can actually hit on the target). If you just look at TR ARs in terms of damage output everyone should be using Cycler TRV as it has almost the same RoF as TORQ but retains the 143 damage tier. Similarly on NC Bandit has the highest RoF among 167 damage weapons period but people still go with AC and GD7F.

In the end your personal like or dislike of a gun has a lot to do with how you do with it. Almost all infantry guns are viable as long as you don't dislike using them.

Did I not say that even with head-shots, the NS-15 often lose fights 1vs1 with other HA's? I'm not even talking about DPS or accuracy or anything like that.

NC HA's with GD-22's are especially bad at close to mid-range, with equal skills and aiming for the head, the higher ROF will beat you out, purely on math.

Once you go beyond close to close-mid range, things change ofc. Still, auraxing this gun makes things painful at closer ranges, and I look forward to diversifying my LMG arsenal a bit more.

What you are saying makes no sense. Not sure if I understand you correctly but GD22S has the same damage and RoF as TMG 50 and Flare which is 167x577. The RoF is lower than that of NS15M.

The only weapons that have actual noticeable edge in close to medium range are Orion/Betelgeuse but even then it comes mostly down to your aim.

Decent evening tonight. Lots of action on Amerish. Desperate and somewhat depressing action, but action all the same. We eventually left for Esamir, and had some fun there too. The low-point of the night however, have got to be, after Murdock left we tried storming Mani Bio twice.

Both times we failed.

Both times we popped the gen.

Both time we cooked the SCU and the first time we blew it.

Both times we got over-run by NC MAX-suits and pure numbers on the SCU itself.

Both times we had 50/50 pop in the bio.

Literally Tactically Retarded randoms decided to sit on their hands around the B-point as opposed to helping on the gen, or helping on the SCU, or evne MOVING TO KILL NC WHEN THE SCU IS DOWN.

Those useless little shits allowed the NC to overrun the downed SCU, clean out the TR, and repair both SCU and gen.

They did this twice.

It was only so much I could do to not go back in a 3rd time to massacre all the TR left in the Bio, because while I know that the average TR is not that cooperative, I do expect and DEMAND that random have enough tactical ability to understand what's important in a Bio-lab. These are supposedly grown-fucking-adults and SHOULD be expected to know how to cap a fucking Bio-lab.

At any rate, we decided to burn down a 100% effectiveness VS base near TR-WG and logged after the crater the VS built in had been irradiated.

Played in DeGa-Squad this morning, capped Lithcorp Central for BAWC, felt MLG. End of Story.

Poor guys must have felt like shit. One single BAWC join them and caps the base under all their noses.

Makes you wonder what all of them did together to be unable to beat a single Arrow.

Played solo right before ops time on Indar, had calssic issues, such as magic-movement people, aim-dysfunction, and general shitty experience. Should have logged. Didn't.

Made a squad finally inviting everyone online in outfit. There were no more than 8 at that time, only Turai joined the squad to start with. Should have seen how tihngs were going to go. Didn't log.

Foundation was dropping 100 assholes on everything we touched, constantly, because they could, this frustrated the living hell out of me because we had one mere squad, on a Sunday afternoon. Did not log and sleep.

Gave lead to Dubnus because I was to frustrated to think terribly clearly and made horrible choices and took failure to seriously. Should have logged then. Didn't.

Dubnus took us to Amerish and the cycle repeated, I was annoyed, loud, obnoxious, fucking toxic and needlessly aggressive. We got some progress done but consistently ran into "not enough people and to negative an attitude" issues. Murdock comes on and get's to hear the worst of the juvenile bullshit and negativity passing by between a pair of officers. I should have been in bed a long time ago, but did not log. Murdock left and "would be back in 15." He never returned. I don't blame him. I continued to be awake, salty, annoyed, angry and shitty.

Big fuckin' mistake.

Eventually we did call it and fucked off to bed. Thersites wanted advice on cert spending and so on, Turai and I gave him that and I eventually logged after spending some of my own. This was the only high-point of the day, because it was CONSTRUCTIVE. I logged, finally.

Smart.

I took some time to write this. Morale of the story: Don't be Focuslight on a shitty day making half a dozen mistakes or so in one night when you could be sleeping as opposed to spreading negativity and bullshit. Also, I need more time with me myself and my anger issues, I am far from done, clearly.

Another day then.

P.S: This outfit needs more people. Like, A.LOT. more people, Dubnus booted a few of the ancient folks who had not been on in multiple months, and we have a mere squad on a Sunday afternoon. This has never been sufficient and never will be.

Took me about 30 mins to come back, was sorting out things in my new apartment.

Mixed feelings about today. Overall, it was fun. Some Arrows were doing vehicle runs to practice driving and so on, so we did a little of that, Harassers, Valkyries, and a very short-lived Galaxy gunship that eventually went down in flames.

And crashed with no survivors.

So, after a while, because people got tired of vehicle play, we went around on foot. Some bullshit went down early on because me and Dubnus were constantly going over what tactics are wise and what-not, my leading was second-guessed routinely and trying to explain my choices - yeah, having to explain my actions like I'm a suspect on fucking trial during my own leading - got harder and harder as it's not easy to lead and get a word-in edge-wise to clarify basic decisions. Eventually I just gave Dubnus lead instead, and indeed a little while later I was the one wondering - aloud - wtf Dubnus was doing. The other Arrows eventually got tired of Daddy Focus and Daddy Dubnus bickering and we agreed eventually that we had to get our shit fixed and stop second-guessing and undermining each other while on live ops, so at least we came to some amicable understanding before Dubnus left.

Myself and a couple of the new Arrows stuck around a little after everyone else left and farmed a few NC and VS in a couple different bases. Ended the night with a little base dismantling behind enemy lines, letting them pop their HIVE-busting cherries with nuclear fire.

Last night was interesting and for the most part, Focus' report is correct.

However, when I took over leading we had captured more bases, killed more people and I - hopefully not just me - had fun. We even took on FACS and won.

That's all I can really remember.

3rd opinion about yesterday:

Dubnus was correct about the point being hard to defend cause it had 4 doors.
However tries getting his point acros like a fucking five year old throwing a tantrum.
Causing us to be in a bad spot with no comms and no leadership.
This kind of disruptive shit happens way to often.

Please set aside your fucking pride you filthy salty veterans.

I simply logged off after that so no idea what happened after that.
Because it drained the fun out of it for me.
I work in a helpdesk so the last thing I want to hear is more raging cunts through a headset when I get home.

If we can't keep controll or work together within our owns ranks there's no hope we will do with other outfits...

Let's see how things go tonight. Hopefully more harmonious mass-murdering of NC and VS, and less bickering and salt-mining. I'll lead if no-one else is around to do so, but if Rick or anyone else who is new-ish are around they will get a chance to prove themselves.
