I know, right? Amaze myself at times, I really do.

Logged on today for an hour on my TR alt while shit was being dealt with in my house. Maybe it was a good thing that I had no time to play more or more seriously because unless my internet just hates PS2 and love everything else, the server stability on PS2 is atrocious today. All the signs of shit-performance is here, spazzing, melting into walls and floors, seconds worth of activation lag, magical enemy aim that I suspect is the usual server catch-up game, (unless everyone is aimbotting these days, something I doubt) issues hitting because hit-detection don't seem to be very reliable, and so on.

In short, I hope this is my net, because otherwise the game is practically unplayable. I'll be on again tomorrow and see if it's gotten better, after a re-boot and reset of my router, should I expect the performance to be as shit as it was today?

Sadly, you are not the only one, for me it's enemies, swallowing a whole mag of my armistice while i only get a part of the shots registered with hitmarkers.

Even tho the servers are laggy as shit and every fight is a big zergfest, i tried to lead a squad today.
Had a rwally slow start, not many guys were online, so me and protein pulled some harresers and destroyed some sundys.
After we got some more peopel online we moved to esamir, had some nice base defends and one really nice point-hold against a vig overpop... We ended up locking esamir!

Locked Indar tonight. Finally!

Then The T"Could you just..."R locked Amerish no 2 minutes later, instantly unlocking Indar again.

Today I saw the future of Server Smash. Laggy, glitchy, a race to master the most basic and cookie-cutter tactics the fastest.

Fuck this shit. Next SS is going to happen only when I muster the desire to bother with it again.

Had a good run today. Some squad action with Leon, Division, Jim, Poksi, Seerus and so on. Ended the day with some Galaxy gunship action, got a few fun runs out of that. Though the other Gal died at least twice, mine somehow survived the whole ordeal to return to base - how often do that happen to TR hardware? :3

So that was fun. PRO-tip Focus, upgrade Gal proxy repair past level 2. Going to be good having a new goal to put my certs to, because level 2 repairs is just weak stuff, it seems.

Had a pretty good run today, in spite of it all. I need to seriously get over the sense of annoyance at all the little things, like NC always dropping tons of troops everywhere, always pulling loads of MAX'es, friendlies always killing you in a massive revive-war cluster-Fuck, and so on. It's unfortunate, but I wish I could enjoy the game more for what it is - all of it, instead of noticing all the little things.

I guess that's what happens when your no longer a noob, you start noticing these things. Welp.

Guess I can only hope this happens sooner rather than later and that people find the occasional exotic threat against all of the NC/VS more humorous rather than annoying xD

Managed to miss what was obviously a very epic run today that ended with the capping of the Crown. Kept playing after that and while everyone logged and went to bed or whatever soon after I felt a little dissatisfied, so after some initial issues (DBG plz fix the damn bugs already, this is getting old, really quick) and a quick re-log I find myself running a single pubbie squad around.

I did not want to make a bigger force due to the platoon chat feature being bugged, along with the command channel, but we got a lot done anyhow. High-lights include many good Gal drops, a Prowler response to the NC's attempt to cap the infamous pit of doom on Amerish, and a long-running infantry death squad popping plenty of tanks and aircraft all over the place, with base caps in between. We literally walked around everywhere blowing up whatever we found and taking what was in range. Not quite a BAWC team out doing shit, but pretty good all the same.
