| Seems like great idea but I wonder if the range of redeploy denial is the same as the range of normal sundy deploy radius. Like if the sundy has to be almost next to spawn room then it won't be nearly as useful as I think. | |

| LOL Me likey that sexy Anti-Max Rifle. Imagine the hate when I snipe NuclearfarmerPPA with that one ;D The only downside is the Dmg against Infantry, maybe they should do just like the M95 ( Bad Company 2) light dmg against Vehicels but one hit headshot on inf;D | |

| Nah it is fine to be 2 hs on inf. That means that not everyone is using them instead of long range engi and standard infi loadout but it serves its purpose of being against maxes and not being a general use weapon. | |

| Throw two of these puppies into a squad and you've got a pretty good balance against skill suits. It's almost like they're trying to get us to specialize. | |

| How can a round penetrate tank armor, but not a human skull? | |

Nanites. Also I hate this BS idea. If I'm carrying around an anti-materiel rifle I bloody well should OHK any infantry at any range. This gun is basically a Barret M82, used by a crap-load of nations for the purpose of destroying equipment, light vehicles and pushing through decent cover. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It *should* kill anyone in a single shot to the chest, let alone the head. But yeah, so should the RAMS.50 and once upon a time at least a head-shot was fatal at any range so long as you did not use nanoweave. These days you have to be close enough, ironically, that your ultimate-range sniper-rifle can be swapped for a semi-auto scout-rifle. Oh well.

NS weapons use old school powder based rounds? Check. The Anti Material rifle fires a high powered kinetic penetrator round designed to pierce directly through layers of armor likely to be found on tanks, aircraft and even MAX suits, however, the high density of the personnel enegry shield takes away from the round's power, reducing its effectiveness against infantry. I just came up with this reason, and I just woke up.

| Don't try realism in PS2. Wrong game. If it makes sense from a balancing point of view and opens new tactical opens I'm fine with it.
