My farewell

I don't really know how to start this.

Weeks or rather months ago I vanished literally overnight without much warning.
I resigned as an officer, left the outfit and deleted Planetside.
Some who followed me on facebook or steam saw me disappear from there aswell.
Without any explanation.

Yesterday I happened to revisit the ps2 reddit and saw a match between Cobalt and Connery happening.
I opened the stream, the fight was on Esamir and Cobalt was winning by 66% and the Observercam could pick up the proximity voice chat.

Never in my life would I have thought that Focuslight yelling would ever make me cry, but here I was. You magnificent bastards.

I owe you guys an explanation and an apology aswell.

The reason I left the outfit and stopped playing Planetside is not the fault of Broken Arrow or any of it's members.
I left the outfit, because I didn't want people waiting for me.
I had to stop playing. Being obsessed with it and wasting time instead of taking care of my real life.
I don't want to get into details, but it went into the Neet direction.
I should have stopped a long time ago but this game had developed into an addiction.

People told me to just take a break, but you don't take a break from drugs. Not for long.
The only way to handle drugs is to get rid of them and anything & anyone that is affiliated.
At this point I have to add, this is my own fault. Normal, healthy people don't get addicted to games. But I did.

That is why I cut off all communication, not because I hate you but because I couldn't handle my own life.

What does that mean for the future?
First I will get my life on track again.

I WILL be back. But for now it will stay like it is.
I will ignore friend requests or any other form of comms.
And I hope you can tolerate that.

I want to thank every single one of you, especially Thunde that tried his hardest to talk to me. I am sorry man.


And to Zombie, Knack and Murdok:

Thank you for creating the best god damn Outfit in the world. Keep on kicking ass!

As much as I would hate to admit it, real life is more important. You definatly made the right call by high-tailing it to get your shit together and god knows it was a hard call, but the right one none the less.

Fear now, the BAWC always stands ready, and when you do get back, there's a seat waiting for you.

No prob. Leon. We mostly figured you had a good reason for your departure. I'm glad also you came back to notify us on the exact reasons why you left, that was my primary concern, the reasoning. After all, anyone can feel free to leave whenever they like, I'd just like to know a reason for that whenever possible.

I have a huge respect of what you did. Addictions suck but keep focusing on your RL it´s more important. If you´ll comeback I´ll be still in BAWC and you can stop asking when I will join BAWC ;D

Reds are organized, it's just a damn shame that most of their organization comes from Ex-BAWC members. It used to be a running joke in the outfit that if you leave, you can always have an officer position in [RMIS], because that was the case with 90% of our boys who left for them.

Scrubbu, it's not that, I just hate the fact that Erah's penis is bigger than mine, and the rest of the outfit just tagged along on the hate train.

My hate for RMIS is just personal. Why? because when I played medic many months ago. I saw RMIS killing a random. ofc i'm gonna go revive him but they kill him again. I revive again then they kill him and me! also there were enough other meetings with them where i got killed by them, for example for "shooting them in tha back". HE went in front of me while I was shooting, i had to stop that guy turned around killed me. Which outfit?! RMIS it is again!

Well, Flokiss, that guy who was teamkilling the other guy may have been defending himself. Once I was using my burster max to deter enemy air, but suddenly 2 random low br frienldies started shooting me in the back, I had to kill them, but then this medic comes right away to revive them just so they could shoot back at me again, so after a couple of warnings I had to also kill the medic. Of course the are a few rmis who are guilty, but sometimes under some circumstances, you may look like a bad guy. You don't need to hate an entire outfit for that.

Not at the time, no.

However, I've shot hundreds of TR for so many reasons. Trying to blow up allied vehicles - obvious false flag - death sentence. Shoot my outfit-mates because they don't like BAWC - death sentence. Sometimes repeatedly if they persist. Salty NC/VS roll TR to shoot me - death sentence. If any Medic persist in reviving the TR who is out to kill his 'allies' or blow up their sundies etc. get warned, then if the Medic persists the Medic get shot as well, for practical reasons.

Imagine that you are a member of any other outfit or no outfit at all, and You see me blow the head off some random TR - I know that that TR had moments earlier shot two other Arrows for whatever reason and found him again - would you hold a grudge against me and all of BAWC for that?

The short and simple is, if you see a TR getting shot by another, you revive him, then if/when he get shot again, you have a few options.

Stop reviving him - he will get shot again if you do.
Stop reviving him - you will get shot for doing so then he will get shot again.
Shoot the one's that shoot him, then revive only him. What have you gained, besides new enemies?

In short - revive once, if the TK'ing persists stop reviving him and mind your own business, is likely the best idea.

Also, you may want to forgive RMIS for this one, unless it becomes a trend that happens all the time, like TTRO 'accidentally' a TK every 5 minutes. *Badum-tish*
